“Color Our World” at Your Library, 2025 Summer Reading Program for all ages.

Sign-up begins Tuesday. May 27th, Program runs Monday., June 2nd through Friday, July 18th.
Grand Prizes will be drawn at the end of the day on Tuesday, July 15th. Prizes pick-up will be at Finale Party on Wednesday, July 16th at 6:00pm. You do not have to be present to win, but for prizes with multiple options, the first choice will be given to those present.
Each Week:
• Youth need to read at least one hour each week. Teens and Adults need to read 2 hours each week. Fill in a bubble for every 15 minutes read on the Youth Reading Log or every 30 minutes on an Adult/Teen Reading Log.
• Bring the Reading Log into the library each week to receive a small reading incentive. Library staff will stamp each week when completed and give you a small reading reward.
• There will be a special “Presentation/Event/Performance” each week on Wednesday night, except the 2nd week of July. This event will be held on Thursday, July 10th.
• Mondays from 3pm-4pm Perler Beads will be set up in the library.
• Tuesdays from 3pm-4pm Read to Rover will take place. Read to Rover time slots are day of sign-up.
How to Have a Chance at Winning a Larger Grand Prize:
• To be eligible to win a Larger Prize, a youth, teen, or adults, must be signed-up for the Summer Reading Program and 5 out of 7 weeks on their Reading Log must be completed and stamped by library staff.
• Those who signed up for the Summer Reading Program will receive a raffle ticket each time they attend any Library Summer Reading Activities.
• The library has put green stickers on “Summer Program Themed Library Items”. Each stickered summer themed library item will earn a punch on a punch card when checked-out at the library desk. For every 8 items a Youth checks-out or for every 5 items a Teen/Adult checks out they will earn a full punch card. A full punch card earns a “PUNCH” our color board. You will have a chance of earning an ice cream treat, a raffle ticket for the grand prize drawing, or be given a challenge to complete to earn a raffle ticket.
• Please check-out items to enjoy them. Be prepared for library staff to test you on your reading!
